Cross-country skiing in Val Müstair
It’s almost as if this valley was specially designed for cross-country skiing. We glide from the famous Tour de Ski sprint track towards Fuldera along the valley trail. To our left, the wintery Rombach river winds its way down the slopes, while to our right, a shady forest exhales a welcome breeze. Ahead of us the undulating track waxes and wanes between gentle and steep gradients with long, sweeping bends, providing perfect interval training for the region’s cross-country skiing champions. We ski effortlessly onwards through this winter wonderland and look forward to reaching the sunny restaurant terrace at the ski centre in Furom. Or we might add an extra loop to our route. Or maybe we’ll climb aboard the PostBus. After all, in Lü and Minschuns there are gorgeous high altitude skiing tracks through pristine wilderness...

Graubünden is calling again in winter 2020/21 for the big winter challenge "Companies run long". Participation is free - and easy: employees of a company form one or more teams and register at www.firmenlaufenlang.ch. Then, between November 26, 2020 and March 21, 2021, they will have to cover as many kilometers as possible on the trails in Graubünden - individually or in a joint cross-country skiing event with the team. In addition to the sports and nature experience, there are also prizes to be won. Action weeks Double kilometers: During the action weeks you can enter the kilometers you have run twice. In the Val Müstair and Lower Engadine the action week takes place from January 3 to 10, 2021 as part of the Tour de Ski in Tschierv.

With its World Cup sprint track in Tschierv, Val Müstair has become a permanent fixture on the famous Tour de Ski multi-stage cross-country skiing race. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to ski along the original sprint track (700 m) of the Tour de Ski stage in Tschierv. Located on the valley trail, it’s the track where the world’s elite cross-country skiers compete.
